) Maths Seminar For Teachers | | Celebrates Environment Week | | Sacred Heartian shares the silver screen | | | | Maths Seminar For Teachers | To make the teachers well aware of the changes and development in the field of Maths. A Maths workshop was organized in collaboration with Education Publisher, Rachna Sagar Pvt Ltd., New Delhi in the premises of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, B.R.S. Nagar, Ludhiana. The Resource person for this maths workshop Mrs N.M.Parti , Principal, Kothari International School, Noida. The workshop started with the blessings of God through a prayer song. Floral welcome was given to the Resource person. As learning is a life long process, this workshop provided the learners an interactive session and ways to improve upon their methods of teaching. An array of activities were a part of the workshop which made the learners imbibe the lessons in a joyful and innovative and activity based way. The participants activity participated in the session with much joy and this lead to varied ideas from all nooks and corners. Everybody learned through the experiences of others and the output was immense. Sister Sobel, Principal, Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, B.R.S. Nagar highlighted the participants on the ways and concepts of learning to be imbibed as an integral part of the teaching process. On the whole, it proved out to be a wonderful and creative experience for the learners as they were taken into the geometrical world of Mathematics concepts.

The hot issue of cooling the earth finds many a buyer in Sacred Heart Sen. Sec. School, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana. The rising temperature, the untimely rains, floods, tsunamis, global warming are a matter of great concern today and to take stock of the situation and warn the people about the consequences, many activities like English recitation comp, Cleanliness drive, paper bag making, poster making, slogan writing, exchange of saplings, Env Quiz and a multimedia presentation competition were held in the premises of the school.
The whole school from nursy.-XII participated with a great fervour and the enthusiasm of the children knew no bounds. Several thought provoking presentations were made which were extremely successful in bringing home the very concern over the issue.
The students and teachers were congratulated by Rev. Fr. Davis, the Director and Rev. Sr. Sobel the Principal of the school for their very successful and innovative attempt and called upon them to remain abreast of such burning questions and always be ready to do their bit towards resolving such problems.

Zoya Verma , a diligent student of class II D of the well known Sacred Heart Sen.Secondary School, B.R.S Nagar has brought laurels to the school her way into bollywood.
Her impressive debut into the movies has been without even a screen test.She shall be starring in a mega movie directed by a seasoned director Imtiaz Khan.The stars of the movie are Kareena Kapoor , Shahid Kapoor and Dara Singh.
The Principal of her school, Sr. Sobel feels that since Zoya has always been an all-rounder with an inborn talent for dancing ,she will go a long way .She wishes Zoya a bright future in the tinsel town.
The teachers too feel that this little girl is a hard worker and so will definitely achieve success .They are providing her with the required support and help to cover up her classwork and studies.
